Using a discount code, you can give visitors a discount on an order. For example, to motivate loyal visitors to buy tickets. You determine exactly how much the discount is and when it is valid when you create the discount code. You can then share the code with your visitors through social media or a newsletter.

A visitor can enter the code while ordering on your sales channel. The discount code can only be used once per order. Per order, a visitor can use 1 kind of discount code. The system automatically calculates the discount you have set over the amount of the complete order.

Insight into the given discount

When you give discount on orders then you see the total given discount in the monitor screen of your event or ticket.

Do you want to see how much discount you have given on a specific order? Find this order through the order overview, you see the discount when you open the order by clicking on the order ID.

Do you want to know which discount code has been used for your orders you can make an export of the order summary. In the export you can see per order which discount code the visitor has used.

Discount code & quantity:

You come up with your own discount code which you enter in the text field. This can be lowercase, uppercase, numbers and characters. For example: 10% DISCOUNT.

Your discount code gives an amount or percentage discount on the entire order. The desired amount you place in the field when creating the discount code. To change between percentage or amount click on the arrow next to the field.

Discount period:

The discount code can be used by visitors during the period you specify. The desired start and end date can of course still be adjusted after setting.

Usage:

The usage determines how often the discount code can be used in total. If you do not enter a number in the field, the discount code is unlimited in use.

Terms and conditions:

A discount code can be valid for all events in your organization, one particular event, or one particular ticket from your event. When you select these conditions, the discount code will not work on all events and tickets that fall outside of these conditions.
