Validity of tickets
Updated over 2 years ago

A ticket is an admission ticket to your event. Each ticket has a unique QR code so you can check at the entrance whether a ticket is valid. You can check the validity with the Eventgoose scanning software by scanning the QR code on the tickets. The validity of a ticket depends on the settings.

If you create simple or advanced tickets, you will have to link them to an event. For a one-day or multi-day event you indicate on which day or days the ticket is valid.

If you have chosen for an advanced event, the visitor himself chooses on which day the ticket is valid during the purchase process. This way the system knows when the tickets are valid to scan with the scanning software. You can create multiple tickets that are valid for the same event. For example, think of a regular and discount ticket for the same event.

Each ticket that the system sends to visitors has a unique QR code that can be scanned once on the validity date. When a ticket, in the case of a multi-day event, is made valid on multiple days then it can be scanned once on one of these validity days.
