Create a simple or advanced ticket
Updated over a week ago

Via the new ticket button on the ticket page you start the configuration. You can choose between simple or advanced. In this article I will explain what these options are and what you can use them for.

1. Create a simple ticket

When creating a simple ticket you go through all the settings necessary to configure your ticket completely. The name and price of your tickets are visible to visitors in the sales channel. The price you set here does not include service costs, which the system automatically charges to visitors during the ordering process. The settings can always be changed later.

In the last step the system will ask which sales channel you want to link a ticket to, or to create a sales channel if you don't have one yet. A sales channel is the web page where visitors can buy or reserve tickets.

2. Create advanced ticket

This option is used when you want to create a new ticket quickly by just giving it a name. You can then complete the configuration yourself using the advanced settings.

A ticket for a one-day or multiple-day event is only active for sales when it has at least a name, price, event, date and capacity.

If you have chosen an advanced event, the visitor chooses the day on which the ticket is valid. In that case you do not set the ticket capacity. The system looks at the set daily capacity or capacity of the time slot. If you enter a capacity in the ticket settings, then this is the maximum number of tickets available for the entire sale. Regardless of the daily capacity or capacity of the time slot.
