Event settings
Updated over a week ago

In this article, I explain the event settings and what you can do with them.

General settings

In the general settings you add the description of the event and you can change the name if necessary. The visitor will see this description on the sales channel.

You can also upload a banner and/or video that the visitor will see on the sales channel. The visitor will also see the image in the confirmation email. This image has a size of 1140 x 400px and may not be larger than 2mb.

At extra info you can add any extra information about your event that will be displayed as an extra block on your sales channel. For example a line up or parking instructions.

Dates and Opening hours

Dates, opening hours and time slots are managed in this submenu. Click on a day in the calendar to add or change dates, opening hours or time slots.

When you change the date of your event then all tickets that are linked to that day will also be valid on the new day.

If there are already purchases for that day then all purchases will automatically move to the new date.

Instructions on how to manage or change your event with time slots:

Location

Change the location where the event will take place. This location is visible to the ticket buyer in the sales channel, tickets and in the confirmation email.

Mail moments

Set a reminder email for your event here. Visitors will then receive the confirmation email with tickets again as a reminder at the time you set. This prevents questions from visitors who lose their tickets right before the event.

Service fee

Change the service fees for your event. These settings will be valid for this event only. As an organizer you can charge an extra service fee per event by changing the kickback service fee. The Eventgoose service fees are not customizable.

The Eventgoose service fee plus the kickback service fee will be charged to the ticket buyer per ticket. The kickback service fee is automatically paid at event payout.

Take the service costs for your own account

You can also choose to pay the service costs yourself. The service costs will then be charged or settled afterwards.

Legal documents and billing details

Select the privacy statement, terms and conditions, and billing information for your event here. You can upload and configure these through your organization's settings.

Legal documents:

When you select a privacy statement and terms and conditions, they will be visible as an additional checkbox in the event sales channel. The visitor will have to agree before a ticket can be purchased.

Billing details:

The system offers the possibility to send a Dutch 21% VAT invoice with the confirmation email. Through this menu you select the invoice data.
