If you use Mailchimp for your newsletters then you can automatically forward the data of visitors to your audience in Mailchimp. The data of a new purchase will be forwarded from the moment you created the link.

When you link a Mailchimp account to our system we automatically send the contact details of visitors to a purchase to Mailchimp. The data will end up in the 'audience' which you have selected in the menu when integrating. In addition to the contact information, we send extra information about the order.

It is then possible to start an automation in Mailchimp based on this information. For example, you can send everyone extra information a week before the event or ask them for a review the day after their visit.

If you have Mailchimp connected, the visitor can indicate during the order process whether he wants to receive a newsletter or not. We send this answer to Mailchimp.

Our system sends the following data to Mailchimp:

- Tag(s) with entrance ticket(s)

- Tag with event

- Validity date of ticket.

- Newsletter yes/no

Instructions connecting to Mailchimp API key

  • On the left side of the main menu, click INTEGRATIONS.

  • If you don't have a Mailchimp API key you can obtain one by clicking on the orange text.

  • Enter your API key and click on SUBMIT.

  • Here choose Eventgoose newsletter, Organization admins or ''name of your event'' Audience.

  • Click on SAVE RELATIONS.
