With the scan environment in the Eventgoose app, you can turn your smartphone into a complete access control tool in just a few steps. The scan environment will be available for you to view from 7 days before your event. The app uses your smartphone's camera to check the validity of tickets and automatically recognizes a QR code on tickets.

Scan functionalities
Managing scanners
With the scanners management function, you can allow employees with smartphones to scan as well. For example, if you have multiple access control points or want to quickly scale up at the entrance during the event. Data is anonymized and not visible to these scanners.
Scan statistics
As an admin, you have real-time access to scan statistics, which is not available to additional scanners. This allows you to easily track the progress of access control. You can see how many visitors you can still expect and how many tickets have already been scanned. You can view the scan statistics during and after the event.
Manual scanning
Our handy search function allows you to manually search and scan tickets and orders. For example, when visitors at the entrance do not have their tickets with them. In addition, you can view scan details for each ticket. The search works both online and offline.
Scan history
The scan history is temporarily stored on each device. This allows you to always look back at the latest scans in the app.
Check connection
During scanning, the scan environment checks for an active internet connection. The Wi-Fi icon in the middle bottom will be green when the connection is active. If there is temporarily no connection, it will turn red. By clicking on the Wi-Fi icon, you can view the status of the connection.
Of course, it is possible for the connection to temporarily drop, but that is not a problem. Our scan app works offline and synchronizes the tickets when there is an active connection again.
